Good Afternoon TD McGee Catholic School Families - this past week, I was approached by a neighbour of our school. She expressed concerns about the traffic and parking issues that have been occurring at drop-off and pick-up times. Keeping in mind that the safety of our students is the key priority, it is important that we respect our neighbours and maintain positive relationships with them. I would respectfully ask that when you are picking up or dropping off your child that you remember and respect the following guidelines: - follow all parking signs and restrictions - including proximity to an intersection - do not park in the city bus zone/stop - do not park on the grass - either the neighbours or ours - do not park in or use neighbour driveways to turn around - please go around the block - do not stop in the street and block traffic - when parking in the drop off inlet up front - please ensure that your car does not encroach the sidewalk - do not park in the DE driveway (by the hedge) as our special needs buses are using this driveway - the back lot is usually available for safe student drop off/pick up and is accessible unless the bus is loading or unloading Thank you for your help in keeping our students safe and making Thomas D'Arcy McGee Catholic School a good neighbour. Sincerely, Mrs. Langdon |
