Snow "maggeddon 2016

A Message from Mrs. Langdon - “Snow” maggedon What a week with not 1 but 2 snow days... I cannot remember the last time that happened!! (And I have been in the board for 28 years) I am writing about this because I truly want you to know about the men and women that work with your children each day ... Tuesdays snow left our parking lot a nightmare ... like most places. The staff of Thomas D’Arcy McGee Catholic School went outside with shovels, mitts and snow brushes to ensure that everyone got dug out and on their way. While I remained inside at the end of the day to ensure that the last friends got home safely, the staff not only dug out their cars but made sure that mine was cleared off, dug out and moved into the line of staff that would not leave until every one could. I think this speaks volumes as to their character and sense of community. These are the people that make our school the wonderful community that it is and work with your children on a daily basis. “Together we are better ....” With much pride ...mrs. Langdon
